black-nokia-n95-8gbNokia has taken over the world of mobile phones and is still gaining popularity amongst mobile phone users. The most recent mobile phone released by Nokia is a nokia n95 and recently after the release of Nokia N95, Nokia announced and released an upgrade version of N95. Usually any upgrade products are not that great but I beg to differ for this product. The upgraded version of Nokia N95, Nokia N95 8GB is good compared to other upgraded products. Obviously, the upgraded version of N95 has 8GB of storage. There are other slight changed to the phone design itself, most notably the back of a N95 8GB is a bit bigger to fit the new extra life improved battery.

Anyways, here are some more information on the Black Nokia N95 8GB mobile phone. The double slide system which is available on both N95 and N95 8GB looks cool. You slide upwards to make a phone call. For listening and watching media files, you slide downwards which reveals the media control buttons. The upgraded version also includes a 5MP Digital Camera at the back and a VGA camera in the front. Here are some of the specifications for Nokia N95 8GB.

  • WCDMA 2100 MHz (HSDPA), EGSM 900 MHz, GSM 850/1800/1900 MHz (EGPRS)
  • Up to 100MB of ram for applications, phonebook, ringtones etc
  • 8GB of flash memory where you can store your media files (Videos, Musics, Pictures, Ringtones, Maps)
  • Nokia Battery (BL-6F) 1200mAH (supports a talk time of up/to 5 hours on GSM calls, 11 days of standby support)
  • 2.8″ QVGA TFT display (with ambient light detector, supports up to 16.7 million colors)
  • Uses a Symbian OS version 9.2

The Nokia N95 8GB also Wifi built-in for easy transfer of media file to and from a computer. The upgraded version of Nokia N95 has lost the camera less cover that was available on previous version. Nokia N95 8GB version also doesn’t include Micro SD slot as it would most probably be useless because it already has an internal 8GB SD Card. I like almost all the features found on a Nokia N95. The keypad could a bit bigger as it is a bit hard to operate, other than that, everything looks good. You might also want to read the mobile phone reviews before you commit to any mobile phones.

dial-a-phoneAn unlocked cell phone are very expensive compared to a locked one provided by cell phone service providers like T-Mobile. Actually, they give you a cell phone for free if you subscribe to their service for a certain period of time. Well some service providers change a very high monthly subscription price and they require a longer contract period. And some mobile service providers have a very few cell phones you can choose from.

sony-ericsson-w810iI was looking around Dial-a-Phone site and found a good selection of cell phone at tmobile section. Almost all the popular cell phones are available through T-Mobile subscription. Most of the phones are manufactured by Sony. Maybe T-Mobile have a deal with sony, well and most of the best offers were on Sony Cell phones, specially Sony Ericsson W810i. A friend of mine has a Sony Ericsson W810i and I borrowed it for a couple of weeks. I was pretty satisfied with the functions found on a Sony Ericsson W810i. It is not my number 1 favorite cell phones by any means but if you were to compare the price of a Sony Ericsson W810i unlocked phone and other cell phones, it is satisfactory. My favorite cell phone at this moment of time is a Nokia N95 but the price of an unlocked Nokia N95 is too high. You could get a Nokia N95 on O2 subscription but the price is a bit high. The cheapest subscription price of O2 for a Nokia N95 8GB cell phone is £31.67 and you will have to commit to 18 month’s contract. You should visit Dial-a-Phone’s t mobile page to look more closely at all the phone available via T-Mobile subscription. Sony Ericsson W810i cell phone has:

  • 2 Mega Pixel camera
  • GPRS for connecting to the WEB
  • Bluetooth v2.0 to transfer data
  • Infrared Port
  • Battery life of up to 350 hours on standby and up to 8 hours of talk time

Sony Ericsson W810i is good and has all the features to make a good cell phone. An unlocked version isn’t that expensive either. At Dial-a-Phone, you can get a great deal on Sony Ericsson W810i, the best one I found is a free 512MB memory stick with a subscription fee of just £7.5 per month for 12 months.

dialaphone.gifDial-a-Phone also has a unique search feature that allows you to search for free gifts such as Apple iPod Touch, Play Station Portable, Xbox 360 and lots of other gadgets which is available on certain subscription deals. So you will be getting a cell phone and one of the devices I just mentioned for a mobile subscription charge. Dial-a-Phone is a large company that provides cell phones and subscription plans to the residents of United Kingdom. All the cell phones manufactured by the top cell phone companies are available at their site.
