google-chromeGoogle Chrome, the new browser from the house of Google is the talk of the town right now. Just within days of its launch, almost everyone is talking about, every blog, forums and every others. Of course, this has been the case on whatever Google launched in the recent past. They have been grabbing the headlines everywhere. Just like that, Google Chrome too has got its own viral publicity. Google really don’t have to do anything extraordinary, except for placing the link to download Chrome at their home page, to get it going. It has been done by everyone who is discussing about it now.

Ok, what is so special about Google Chrome to make it a talk of the town? To be frank, there is nothing special when you compare it with other browsers, except for the speed with which you browse the web pages, at least this is what Google claims and what Chrome can do to your browsing habit.

The other feature which you can just see with the new Chrome web browser is the thumbnail views of the sites you regularly visit. To visit those sites all you need to do is to click on the thumbnail. This was the same feature which Opera released in its latest release.

The other key highlight that can be found useful with Google Chrome is creating shortcuts for applications. For example if you visit Google calendar regularly you can create shortcut for the same and the shortcut will be created in your desktop and you can actually visit Google calendar with just one click. This is just an example, you can actually create any application which you use through Google Chrome.

google-chrome-screenshotIncognito, this is an all new feature, which you cannot see with any other browser. With this mode of browsing you can browse without leaving any traces of the website you visited and the cookies which got stored will automatically be deleted once you leave the site and close the incognito window.

There is an unique feature in Google Chrome wherein you can search among the site you recently visited (i.e., history) and get what you are looking for and forgot to store it when you visited that particular site. This is an extremely useful option which would come in handy without re-visiting the sites again for something that we found previously.

These unique Google-Chrome only features would definitely help in letting them breach into the already saturated and over-used web browser market. Since Google Chrome is just in beta phase so, we can expect a lot more to come when they actually launch the complete version in the near future.
