Well this configuration has 1GB of more Ram than mine. The battery that comes with it ( 56 WHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery ) is not that good if you plan to travel a lot with this laptop. You might want to get a 85WHr 9-Cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery. This Dell Vostro Laptop is well worth $499. I don’t regret it a bit and I have been using a Dell Vostro 1500 laptop for 6 months now. Just get a powerful battery and you are good to go. One bad point about this laptop is it is a bit on the heavy side. Other than that, if you consider the usability it is good value for the money.

Ok, here is another great deal I found. First deal in available on BestBuy. They are having a sale on Seagate 1TB Internal SATA Hard Drive for $190. Shipping is free if you choose in-store pickup. The cost is still a bit high but look at the bright spot, you will have 1 TB of storage space. Well, you could get another Seagate hard drive if this one breaks as it has a 5 years parts and labor warranty. I could use this much space. Both my Hard Drives are almost full (80GB and 160GB).
