There are quite a lots of laptops people can choose from but not all of them offer the best value for money. One of the most popular laptops today is HP branded. HP laptops looks sleek and performance is not bad either. HP laptops are lot cheaper than Sony laptops and the hardware is not that far off either so it is better to get HP laptop than to get a Sony laptop. Dell on the other hand don’t make sleek laptops, the hardware is great but the looks should put some people off. Dell laptops are usually dull. I also have one, a Dell Vostro 1500. It is great in terms of performance and value for money but it suffers a lot in terms of looks. I wrote about a Dell XPS M1330 laptop some time ago and it is for me one of the best looking laptops Dell has produced till date. You can customize this laptop according to your computing needs and get it for decent price.
If you don’t need lot of computing power, I suggest you get an all purpose laptop with decent hardware inside it. I got my Dell Vostro 1500 for relatively cheap price ($699 after taxes) and I don’t regret buying it except, I should have got a bigger hard drive. If you are looking for pure performance then it will cost you some money. Here are some of the best laptops performance wise for the year 2007. Now as it is a year older, you will be able to purchase it at a lot less price and get a decent performing laptop for it. It won’t be able to compete with todays top end performance laptops but it should be more than good enough for most of us. Which laptop would you go for, a top end high performance laptop or an all purpose one?
You should see a lot of changes in terms of technologies inside a laptop as they are beginning to outsell desktops now. There is a valid reason for this. First off, laptops are portable and has hardwares derived from lot of research as they need to be a lot more smaller than a desktop hardware has to be. Here is some laptops 2009 news for you. According to Intel, one billion people own laptops and the laptop sale will surpass desktop sell by 2009. Intel are also looking to bring technologies to laptops that will make it affordable for the masses.
P S: If you are looking to buy a laptop right now, just hold on. There is a new coupon which will give you a $200 off on $999+ of purchase on most customizable HP laptops. Here is the $200 off HP coupon (HP coupon code “NB2390“). This coupon can be stacked with other instant rebate offers.

Google Chrome, the new browser from the house of Google is the talk of the town right now. Just within days of its launch, almost everyone is talking about, every blog, forums and every others. Of course, this has been the case on whatever Google launched in the recent past. They have been grabbing the headlines everywhere. Just like that, Google Chrome too has got its own viral publicity. Google really don’t have to do anything extraordinary, except for placing the link to download Chrome at their home page, to get it going. It has been done by everyone who is discussing about it now.
Ok, what is so special about Google Chrome to make it a talk of the town? To be frank, there is nothing special when you compare it with other browsers, except for the speed with which you browse the web pages, at least this is what Google claims and what Chrome can do to your browsing habit.
Google Chrome has come up with the address bar which acts as both the address bar to type the URL as well as a search box where you can just type the search words to get the result on the search engine you set as the default search engine at Google Chrome. Thus you don’t have to have a separate search box that you normally get along with many of the other browsers like FireFox, Internet Explorer etc. You can Download Google Chrome Browser here.
The other feature which you can just see with the new Chrome web browser is the thumbnail views of the sites you regularly visit. To visit those sites all you need to do is to click on the thumbnail. This was the same feature which Opera released in its latest release.
The other key highlight that can be found useful with Google Chrome is creating shortcuts for applications. For example if you visit Google calendar regularly you can create shortcut for the same and the shortcut will be created in your desktop and you can actually visit Google calendar with just one click. This is just an example, you can actually create any application which you use through Google Chrome.
Incognito, this is an all new feature, which you cannot see with any other browser. With this mode of browsing you can browse without leaving any traces of the website you visited and the cookies which got stored will automatically be deleted once you leave the site and close the incognito window.
There is an unique feature in Google Chrome wherein you can search among the site you recently visited (i.e., history) and get what you are looking for and forgot to store it when you visited that particular site. This is an extremely useful option which would come in handy without re-visiting the sites again for something that we found previously.
These unique Google-Chrome only features would definitely help in letting them breach into the already saturated and over-used web browser market. Since Google Chrome is just in beta phase so, we can expect a lot more to come when they actually launch the complete version in the near future. Find out more about Google Chrome features in Comic Book style here, .

Rapidshare has become one of the premier file hosting companies on the internet. Thousands of warez sites use them and even businesses are starting to embrace the capability it provides. The problem arises with the severe limitations put on what Rapidshare calls “free users”. These are users not signed up for their Premium accounts. The limitations include slow download speeds, one download at a time, and a limit of downloads per hours and days. For large files which are split up between up to 70 Rapidshare links it makes it impossible to use without a Premium account.
Well I’m here today to teach you a method that will allow you to buy one Rapidshare premium account and use it forever. Rapidshare recently implemented a point system which they call “RapidPoints“. These points are obtained by people downloading files that you upload on your Premium account and can be exchanged for an extension on your current Premium account. Thus if you maintain people downloading your files then you will have a constant income of RapidPoints and be able to maintain your account for as long as you want without paying a single dime.
So the question is, how do I get a good income of RapidPoints? The answer is warez sites. Many warez forums are very popular for using RapidShare. Nearly every piece of software posted has a Rapidshare mirror. This is exactly what we’ll be using.
To get started let’s name two of the most popular and active warez forums:
warez-bb.org
projectw.org
If you do not already have accounts on these forums, go ahead and set one up now, it’s completely free. Once you have an account we can begin the process of “mirroring”. The process is actually quite simple and is outlined in three easy steps below:
- Find a small popular product
- Download the product
- Post the product again in a new topic or as a mirror in topics. Alternatively post on another forum.
For example: Let’s say at the moment that the latest version of Photoshop happens to be very popular. What you’ll do is go and find a thread with links to the latest version and download it. Take the downloaded file(s) and upload them to your Rapidshare account. Note for multiple files I suggest that you use Rapidshare’s free “RapidUploader” which can be found on the Rapidshare account under “RapidTools” in the top menu of the website. Once the files have been uploaded take the link(s) and post them either in the same topic as a mirror, in a new topic, or on another forum. For instance I could download the latest version of Photoshop on Warez-BB and ProjectW might not have it so posting it on ProjectW would generate a lot of RapidPoints.
It’s suggested you stick to small files. You can easily upload 5-6 mirrors a day and generate a ton of RapidPoints. This is not a process you have to do everyday either. Since uploads last a long time as you progress overtime you’ll be making points without having to upload anything.
I’ve been using this method ever since I purchased my premium account last year and it’s never once expired. I hope you are as successful as me.

Everyone who has played a game on a PC knows how important a mouse is. Before we had access to optical mouse, we used to play games using a regular mouse with a trackball inside it. It was not the best mouse as the trackball would get dirty and the response of the mouse declined due to dirty stuck in it.
The optical mouse we use (I mean the basic ones) are not the best available mouse for gaming as the there are fewer buttons in it (right, left and scroll). There are optical mouse available that are specifically designed for PC gamers. Usually, these kind of gaming mouse cost a lot of money so not everyone can afford it and only die hard PC gamers get it even if it is highly priced. Well, here is a good deal for a Logitech MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse on Buy.com, costs $21.35 after rebates (rebate form here). At the Logitech’s official store, Logitech MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse costs $50 so I think this is a pretty good deal. Ok, here are some specifications for the Logitech MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse:
- Image Processing: 5.8 megapixels/second
- Resolution: 1800-dpi native, adjustable to 400- and 800-dpi
- Acceleration: 15-g
- Throughput: 16 bit/axis USB data format, and 125/sec USB report rate
Logitech MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse is not the best gaming optical mouse available on the market but its not that bad. There are almost nothing bad about this Logitech optical mouse except that it is designed for only right handed users. Logitech MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse has 1,600dpi optical sensor with five on-the-fly sensitivity buttons which can be programmed to suite your gaming needs.
There is another bonus Buy.com deal for you here. Logitech QuickCam Deluxe Webcam for Notebooks for $10 deal is back online. Get one fast before the stock runs out at buy.com.
