Dell has a strong line of Laptops on offer. Not as big as HP but still some of their laptops are a lot cheaper than HP’s Laptops. The design of Dell laptops are pretty basic but the hardware that comes with it is great. I have a Dell Vostro 1500 laptop which i bought for $700 including taxes. The design of the laptop is pretty basic (nothing to wow) but the hardware is great for that price. I am pretty satisfied with it. Dell Vostro 1500 is bit on the heavy side though.
Well Dell are selling their Vostro 1000 series laptops at a cheap price. You can get a Dell Vostro 1000 Laptop for just $419. The price applies if you don’t upgrade any hardware. The default configuration of this Dell Vostro 1000 laptop are:
- AMD AthlonTM 64 X2 Dual-Core processor TK-57 (1.9GHz/256KB)
- Genuine Windows Vista Home Basic edition or Genuine Windows XP Home edition (I would suggest you get Windows XP on your system)
- 15.4″ Wide Screen XGA LCD Anti-Glare Display (You could upgrade it to a 15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA LCD Display with TrueLife for an extra $30)
- 1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHZ, 2 Dimm
- 80GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
- 8X DVD+/-RW with double-layer DVD+R write capability, Cyberlink Power DVD (There are three optical drives to choose from, you can choose any on of them without adding anything extra to the price)
- ATI Radeon® Xpress 1150 256MB HyperMemory™ (integrated)
- Dell Wireless 1395 802.11g Wi-Fi Mini Card
- 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
Upgrade the primary battery to a 9 cell one (85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery). It only costs an additional $40 but trust me it will come in handy. I have the same battery and it works for 6 hours of basic internet use without pluging in to an AC outlet ( the time varies if you increase the brightness and use optical drives and hard drives). 3.5 hours if you are watching a movie on full brightness. Here is an in-depth review of Dell Vostro 1000 Laptop. It is not the perfect solution for portability as it is quite heavy but the price is just great.

Mobile phones and mobile communication and really taken off in the past few years. New technologies are being added to mobile communication devices and manufacturers are trying to cram a lot of stuffs in a very small devices. Manufacturers are trying to entice consumers by including lots and lots of features into new mobile phones. It is hard for consumers to have an up to date cell phones. It is not possible to buy a new cell phones every year or even months as brand new mobile phones with lots of technology (some new ones) are being released by different manufacturers almost every month. And these phones don’t come cheap. There are some alternatives you can choose to save mobile phone costs. You could get a contract with a specific mobile phone service provider as you will be getting a brand new cell phone for free, mobile phone contracts don’t come cheap though. But looking at the bright side, you will be getting a phone for free and you can use your cell phone for the same price.
Well, if you are looking for the latest mobile phones on contract, look no further. Mobile Express has all the latest and the most popular phones on great deals. Mobile Express is a UK based company so they only cater to people who reside in the United Kingdom. They offer all the big mobile service providers based in Uk O2, T-Mobile, 3 and Orange. They also have a list of all the great phone deals available for people in the United Kingdom. They specialize in contract mobile phones and have all the deals available on contract. For some contracts, they even give out an extra offer for free such as iPods, Games Consoles, TV’s etc. Best of all they have the latests and huge mobile phone collection that you can choose on a contract. They even have the brand new cell phone from LG called Viewty.
Mobile Express is very easy to use and laid out so even a newbie will be able to search and find what they want easily. If you want a cell phone that included a free gift, you can easily search for it straight from the homepage as all the free stuffs are listed on it. Or maybe you want to search according to phone manufacturers, you can do that too. One of the cell phones I liked from their collection is the LG Viewty. It is the latest cell phone on offer from LG and it looks damn good. I haven’t had the change to use it but from what I saw, I like its touch screen function. It also included a 5 MegaPixel camera and also included 3.5G which is very useful if you want to surf the net at high speed. Some bad points on LG’s Viewty is its lack of Wi-Fi and doesn’t provide enough protection for the camera lens. I was planning on getting the Nokia N95 8GB cell phone but I am having second thoughts now after I found out about LG’s Viewty. The contract for LG’s Viewty is really cheap compared to other phones like Nokia N95 on Mobile Express. You will have to pay £17.5 for eight months. LG’s Viewty is only available on O2 network though.

It can be quite a hassle if you were to maintain your own server and host your site from it. For one, you will need to monitor the server 24/7. So you will have to dedicate a lot of time for that. Another hassle you will encounter is paying the electricity bill and subscription fee for an active broadband internet connection. Basically, you can give all these responsibility to others if you get a dedicated server. You won’t have to worry about paying and managing electricity and internet connection bill and also manage the server as the dedicated hosting provider will take care of it all.
Well, a dedicated hosting will be quite over the top if you have a fairly small site with some traffic. For these kind of sites, you can use virtual private servers which is basically an server divided into several virtual parts. They use some kind of software to allocate memory, CPU usage to a VPS.
If you have some time to dedicate into server management, you might want to get a Colocation Hosting. Colocation hosting means you will be renting a space where you will be able to place your server. With server colocation, you are buying a physical space. With this option, you will have to manage the server but every other thing will be done by the provider. You provide and manage the server, they will provide a space to place your server, get their data center, electricity, bandwidth and routers. Colocation hosting is the next best thing if you are willing to provide the server and manage it by yourself. If you don’t have much experience or can’t spend a lot of time managing the server or want to buy a server computer, dedicated hosting or a VPS is the best option.
With IntraHost, you can get all the things i mentioned, from a dedicated server to a colocation hosting. They provide service for Virtual Private Server and also provide application hosting if you need them. The price of all these service is very competitive and you will be satisfied with it. Colocation hosting at IntraHost costs £35 per month for the first three months of service. You don’t have to worry about electricity bills, data center or internet connection bills. Everything will be taken care of by IntraHost. All the data centers are located inside the United Kingdom so this should be best suitable for companies or webmasters who reside in the United Kingdom. Check out their site for more information.

Windows Vista is the newest edition of Microsoft operating system released. I have read a lot about Windows Vista but I haven’t personally used it. I still use Windows XP and I am comfortable with it. If I were to upgrade to Windows Vista, I will surely need to upgrade my hardware which would cost me a lot of cash. I am more than satisfied with Windows XP and I don’t have any intentions of upgrading to Windows Vista any time soon, unless it is absolutely necessary. Windows Vista takes up too much RAM and too much processing power and if I were to upgrade to Windows Vista now, I would surely have to upgrade RAM or use ReadyBoost feature which is not that great to tell you the truth as a flash memory is much slower than a RAM.
For a new users, they would definitely need a lot of vista help as lot of things are different in a Windows Vista Operating system if you compare it with Windows XP excluding the obvious one (Visual look). The minimum RAM requirement for Windows Vista is 1GB but you will need atleast 2GB of actual ram for a Windows Vista to perform up to par. Well you can find a lot of useful information about Windows Vista on this vista forum. Did you know Windows Vista was actually known as Windows LongHorn when it was in the development state!!
For a person who has just upgrade from Windows XP to Windows Vista, this Windows vista forum might be a helpful place to look for information and/or converse with other people who also use Windows Vista. There are lots of version of Windows Vista and it can be quite expensive to upgrade. To be accurate there are five versions of Windows Vista.
- Windows Vista Ultimate
- Windows Vista Home Premium
- Windows Vista Home Basic
- Windows Vista Business and
- Windows Vista Enterprise
Windows Vista Ultimate edition has it all so if you want a full Vista experience from both media and business world, you should choose Windows Vista Ultimate.

The internet has come a long way since it was conceived. Before, a site only used to filled with links and data, that was it. I thought floppy disk drives have become obsolete. I don’t think anyone uses floppy disks anymore. Why would anyone want to use a 1.44MB floppy disk drives when you can buy a pen drive for cheap with 1000 times more memory than a floppy and much more reliable. I used to use floppy drives and from my experience, they were pretty flimsy and would break down in no time even thought i was not used or mishandled.
You have to be stupid to buy this product. This new Floppy Disk Drive has a seven in one Built-in Card reader. Why would you want a floppy drive with a memory card reader when you can purchase just a memory card reader for a lot less money? This is just a damn stupid product. The company that made this device must be out of touch with todays technology or just plain stupid. No one will ever use a floppy drive now when you can use a DVD which holds upto 8GB of data or even bigger storage like the new Blue-Ray disks.

I know this post is a big off topic. Sorry about that. Well real estate is a huge business and people can really make huge amounts of money by buying or selling properties. Just till now, I didn’t know about the tenant-in-common deal or TIC as it is known in short. This is how a tenant-in-common deal works. The developer of a property better know as a sponsor in the real estate industry purchases or puts a contract on a property that is fit for institutions. Then the sponsor puts up the property up for investment by other companies. The investor actually will be owning a property even if they invest a small percentage. This TIC thing is different than owning a share as you will be owning a property instead of just owning a percentage. Before this is done, the sponsor has to make a document with all the details about the asset in questions including how much it will be making etc. The sponsor also will update the asset and do all the work needed to make the property up to date. After viewing the document made by the sponsor, the investor reads it in detail and decides if it is worth investing in. There are some risks involved with this but no risk no gain.
You can find out a lot about 1031 TIC here. They have all the details needed to find out what and how a tenant-in-common works as. Everything you need to know about replacement properties can be found on Cardea Commercial.

When iPhone first arrived in the market, it was on an AT&T network and to even activate the iPhone, people had to call AT&T. There was a huge mess up when the Apple’s iPhone was first released in the market. Since then, the price of an iPhone dropped quite dramatically and Apple also dumped the 4GB version of iPhone. Now an iPhone is available in two sizes, an 8GB version which costs $400 and a 16GB version which costs $500. These prices seems reasonable but there is a catch, you will need to subscribe to AT&T service which is quite expensive. At least a two year contract is needed. I have never liked what the mobile service providers have done. Locking a phone so that it just works on their network is a bit unfair. Since this started happening, people (mobile experts) started to look for a way unlock it.

It took not that long for mobile experts to crack the Apple and AT&T locking mechanism. The first iphone was unlocked on August 24, 2007 (according to engadget). Now people can use any SIM cards from any subscribers and use it on an iPhone without a problem. Nowadays, we can unlock almost all kinds of phones by using a software. Well some of these softwares can be used for free and some charge a small fee for unlocking a phone.
Well if you already have an iphone with an AT&T subscription or from any other mobile networks, you can ditch it right away and use any SIM card you like. There are some iPhone Unlock Service available online which will do the dirty work for you but they will charge a small fee. iphone-sim-unlock.com provides iPhone Unlock software for a fee of $29 which is a negligible amount if you consider the subscription fee you have to pay to AT&T. AT&T’s cheapest plan for an iPhone costs around $60 per month. So the price of unlocking an iPhone by using iPhone-Sim-Unlock.com is pretty low (half the cost of 1 month AT&T fee). There are locked iPhones from all the top mobile service providers and this software will unlock it all. It just takes around ten minutes to unlock an iPhone. There are only three steps you need to follow, 1st sign-up for iPhone Unlock service, secondly login and purchase the iphone unlocking service for $29 and then unlock your iPhone. Thats it, nothing else to do. Doesn’t matter what version of iPhone firmware you use, their unique software will unlock it for you. Even a bricked iPhone won’t be a problem. By paying a one time fee of $29, you will be receiving future updates and service for life. There are also exclusive iPhone wallpapers package available to use free of charge and another good thing about their service is, they provide 24 hour support to their customers.
