Windows Vista: because it should require at least a gig of RAM just to check your email… security is still a joke, it costs 2x as much as XP, supports less hardware, supports DRM and has that annoying and frankly useless [in every conceivable way] UAC

I know, thats why I am still using XP and I also bought a Dell vostro 1500 with xp. This system has enough ram to run vista (2 GB). I hate the DRM feature on vista.
nowadays lots of laptops and desktop computer manufacturers are cranking out systems with only vista OS available in them. Hard to find an XP preinstalled system now.
I won’t be upgrading to vista until and unless i absolutely have to.
