World Wide Web is a huge business center and web hosting is one of the flourishing business. As a result, there are infinite web hosting companies competing with one another to attract customers. The most heard of name in Web Hosting these days are Bluehost and hostgator. Once I tried to get a web hosting at both Bluehost and hostgator but they were asking me for documents. I didn’t want to go through the hassles of scanning documents so i choose a hosting provider from digitalpoint forum and they provided a web hosting service for a very cheap price and didn’t ask for documents. 
I know these kinds of hosting is not that reliable but the top hosting companies wanted me to subscribe to a 1 year deal at least to get a reasonable monthly price. I am still planning on shifting to a popular hosting provider as the current server I am on is a bit slow, but till now the uptime for this server is 100%. Bluehost has just upped the stakes, they are now providing 600 Gigabyte of storage.

Well, we won’t need 600 Gigabyte of storage unless you have a video sharing site like youtube, bandwidth is always welcome though, and a free domain too.
I have heard some bad things about hostgator on digital point so I won’t be going for that in the future. I would like to try out bluehost though, seems everyone like it. There are lots of other unknown hostiing companies like McKremie Hosting, but you should be careful when getting one from an unknown quantity, they could be great as well as a very bad company providing shitty servers.
For online marketing, it is important that everything starting from the domain names to the website design and the web hosting deal itself is optimized.

I agree that finding the right web host is important. One time I had a website hosted with a company and the hosting went down for 2 days. I lost sales and it really made me mad.
How important is it to have cpanel?
Cpanel is easy to use and is very user friendly. I dont know how important cpanel is but it is very easy to use even for a novice so I would recommend a cpanel we hosting with fantastico and awstats.
